The Roofing Process:
We roof per the National Association of Roofing Contractors guidelines. We strip off the old shingles and check for any bad decking and chimney flashing. We then apply ice and water shield (if applicable), felt, valley material, and re-roof to code using four nails per shingle.
Please keep in mind that this is a major construction project. The shingles, particularly second layers, come off in pieces. Expect a bit of a mess no matter what contractor does the work. Be sure to secure fragile items on the interior of your home that are subject to vibration during the installation process.
We clean up and haul away the trash, including picking up excess nails with a magnetic roller. We also protect your shrubbery during the process. We use only the highest quality materials.
Roofing:
The main suppliers we use for roofing supplies are Elk, Tamco, GAF and Owens Corning Products. These companies are all over 75 yrs old with a wide variety of shingles and other roofing materials. You can learn more about these companies through your Field Supervisor or Project Manager.
Siding:
The main siding supplier we use is ABC Supply Co. They are the largest wholesale distributor in the United States.
